Orange Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups scalded milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 4 eggs
- grated rind of 1 orange
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Method
Pour milk over bread crumbs. Beat eggs, add other ingredients. When blended add bread and milk mixture. Steam in individual molds three fourths of an hour. Remove to serving dish; garnish with slices of orange.
